It all started with The Story of O. Oh my. Next came A.N. Roquelaure's Sleeping Beauty series, which I bought with babysitting money. Charles Bukowski's Women blew my mind; one of my kids is named after his main character. And anything (everything) by Milan Kundera.

My romance writing journey didn't begin until one fateful day when a Vi Keeland book popped into my recommendations. The last book I'd read, Pachinko shouldn't have led to Egomanic, but somehow, Amazon's recommendation algorithm knew best.

Keeland led to T.L. Swann and L.J. Shen, then to J.T. Geissinger, and R.S. Gray and so many, many more.
My book journey
Turn Ons/Offs
Things you'll find in almost everything I write:
-
alpha men, occasionally more than one
-
women somewhat compelled to give in
-
raunchy, naughty sexy times
-
tilted moral compasses
Things you'll never find in anything I write:
-
pregnancies -- I stop reading a book once the main character sees those two lines
-
death of a close family member, especially a child. nope.
